Ok...so it's now 365 days until John and I will say our "I do's"...I still find it hard to believe that a year ago, I was joking around and said, "We should just get married on October 11, 2012 so we won't forget our Anniversary." (10/11/12). John was like...haha...sure. We had talked about it in passing before, and decided that we would wait until Samantha graduated from high school so we wouldn't have to move her to a different school.
When I woke up this morning....and realize that it was 10/11...I was like...Wow. Only one more year! Sometimes I don't want to wait that long...I want to marry him NOW!
Now we have to start planning. I want to do something local. My daughter wants us to have a wedding ceremony with friends and family. The day that John and I want to get married on is on a Thursday, so there would be a greater chance that people wouldn't be able to make it. We're still thinking of doing our "official" I do's on the 11th...and then on the 13th, have an "unofficial" ceremony and reception.
I've been looking for a venue that would work for under $1000. Not having much luck. Grrr!!!
