So...I got a "verbal" warning at work last week.
I had posted some pictures from work on my personal facebook page. They were hilarious! But, it seems that a "friend of one of my friends" saw the pictures and thought that they were totally unprofessional, and inappropriate. So, this person decided to send a letter to corporate headquarters of the company I work for. (I had where I work listed, so it wasn't that hard to figure out). This person said that she insists that the company do a better job of monitoring it's employees social networking pages, and demanded that I remove these pictures. My "boss" let me know what was going on. She politely asked if I could take the pictures down since we now had a "formal" complaint. I complied. The "complainer" sent the letter anonymously so no follow up could be done. This person also claimed to be a "veterinarian professional"..blah,blah, blah! Seriously! You have a problem with something I have on my PERSONAL page, let me know! Don't go to corporate. They have better things to do! So...I tightened the security of my page...only friends can see what I put on there...also removed my employer from my page. To make it even more bizarre...those pictures that were being complained about weren't even the worst ones on my page!!! Wow!
My co-workers couldn't believe that someone would even say anything about it. Also, I will NOT tag pictures of work related stuff...or probably not even post work related stuff on my page anymore!
It's kind of a joke at work right now. First we deal with a thief among us...and now someone has a tattle tail on their friend list!

Weekend Fun
Had a pretty amazing weekend with John. He came down Friday night...How I love falling asleep in his arms. All safe and warm. Saturday night when I got home from work and he got home from visiting Bruce,we went to dinner at Applebees. (trying to be a little "health conscious"). Then we decided to go see a movie. We picked "The Fighter". If you haven't seen it, I do recommend it. Was very good.
Sunday morning we hit a local winery to do a bit of wine tasting. Since this isn't something that I've EVER done, I wasn't sure what to expect. So we googled Wineries in the Vancouver, WA area. I was actually surprised how many there are in this area. We decided to go to the "Rusty Grape" in Battle Ground. Cute little place. The wine was pretty good. There were a couple that we didn't care for that much...I think more me than John. Wasn't too fond of their Pinot Gris, or Syrah...But, we did find a couple that we really liked. They had some cute little dogs hanging around that were very people friendly. Made the place more comfy and homey to me. After spending a couple hours there sipping wine and chatting with the event planner, we bough 4 bottles of wine and came home. Came home and made enchiladas.
Then the time came that John had to leave...and put me in a slight panic depression...John will be leaving for Virginia on Wednesday and will be gone for 7 weeks. I know this is nothing in the grand scheme of things..but I will miss him like crazy! I'm thinking it'll probably be 8 weeks before I actually get to see him, since I'm sure that he'll want to see his boys the weekend he gets back. He'll be coming home on March 18th...2 days before my birthday. Then he tells me unless he passes this final audition and PT, he might not be going. So...I'm torn now. I don't want him to miss this opportunity..but, I don't want to have him gone either.
I'm so glad that John gave me a wonderful memory filled weekend before he leaves.
